Christmas fairy tale at Chalet Chatel
It is on the edge of the forest in Megève, in a place as quiet as it is preserved, that the chalet Chatel is located, an old traditional wooden farm that is a century old.

Inside, this large 250 square meter wooden chalet, so beautifully crafted, was decorated in the same spirit that is the soul and charm of Les Fermes de Marie. An atmosphere of patinated and authentic luxury, refined and warm, made of old antique mountain furniture and creations by artisans. A place where you want to cocoon. A chimney fire is crackling. Here and there, multi-coloured blown glass wreaths and decorations instill their magic in the vast living-dining room. A large fir tree has been decorated in the colors of winter, dressed in white, red, gold and silver.

Every morning, once you get out of your room (the chalet has five upstairs, each with an elegant bathroom), you discover the breakfast table set. Hot drinks are simply waiting to be poured and homemade cakes and tarts such as cheeses, pastries and fresh fruit to be bitten.
All that's left to do is get dressed and take the equipment that the ski-man specially brought and wait for the guide to pick us up. While some go snowshoeing or skiing, others go for a dog sled ride.
In fact, almost everything is possible, with the concierge organizing each tailor-made stay, even before arrival.
And when you come back in the afternoon, luckily, everything has been cleaned and tidy. As every day, the snack, which is invariably delicious, was placed on the dining room table and the fire was prepared. All you have to do is crack the match and slide your slippers under the table.
