In 30 years of existence, Les Fermes de Marie has been an institution. Anything but smooth, its luxury is synonymous with unforgettable moments. Like each of the Sibuet Houses and Hotels, in Megève, Menerbes, Saint-Tropez or Saint-Barth, the place has its history. Designed and built by Jocelyne and Jean-Louis Sibuet, they saw their own children grow up. Marie and Nicolas, who are now part of this family destiny of dream hospitality, adapting the new mountain codes to this extra soul so often copied, rarely equalled. Many young and old alike have fallen under the spell of this hamlet born from the accumulation of chiselled firehouses; forgotten alpine granaries or Savoyard farms; each piece of wood, dismantled, numbered and reassembled, in a titanic Lego game. Since then, from season to solstice, Les Fermes has continued to reinvent itself. Pure Altitude, a pioneer in the use of mountain plants, has become a fully-fledged brand that extends well beyond the hotel spa. Not to mention the resumption of Old Megève, another institution in the village, which offers an alternative to half-board.
