MARIE'S FARMS, A FAMILY HISTORY

It was in 1989 that they laid the first stone of a long journey at Les Fermes de Marie, today an emblematic place of mountain living, combining, in an idyllic green setting, Savoyard woodwork with high-end and elegant decoration, mostly mottled. From 2011, the adventure continued with the family, accompanied by their daughter Marie and their son Nicolas.

Formerly known as the Saint-Tropez of the Alps, the village of Megève brings together demanding families every summer on its alpine land, when in winter, it offers them the descents of its numerous ski slopes. Moreover, on request, 7/7, shuttles (Land Rover SUVs and/or Caravelle VW) make trips between Fermes de Marie and the slopes!

LODGINGS

Les Fermes de Marie offers their little guests and parents a selection of comfortable rooms and suites, as well as two private chalets, each with their own spa area.

Good news for large families who want to maintain a bit of privacy: interconnecting room options are available for most accommodation categories.

The Club Room (25 m²) consists of a comfortable bedroom that can accommodate 2 adults and 1 baby and a bright bathroom with a bath. Its main asset? A balcony with panoramic views of the Alpine peaks.

The Junior Family Suite (50 m²) is perfect for accommodating a tribe of 2 adults and 1 or 2 children. It consists of a master bedroom and an adjoining bedroom, a charming bathroom with bath and a terrace or balcony. It is also possible to install a baby bed in your room, to be booked in advance with your Little Guest travel advisor.

The Chalet des Fermes (400 m²) is a private residence, located a few steps from the center of the village. This is where large families and groups of friends stay. Composed of 5 bedrooms, large living spaces and a private spa, the chalet also benefits from exclusive underground access to the Fermes de Marie directly and take advantage of all its services and facilities.

GASTRONOMY

Good news for your little ones: all of the hotel's restaurants offer children's (and allergen-free) menus and have comfortable high chairs.

Les Fermes de Marie offer a buffet adapted to children: the Children's Table (only available during French school holidays). This space, supervised by the kid's concierge, provides children with a starter and main course buffet (or an a la carte menu for the main course when there are few children). In winter, the Children's Table is served at the Hameau des Enfants, and in summer, in the Traditional restaurant.

The traditional restaurant offers a refined regional menu, adapted to each season. Special mention for the signature dish of Fermes de Marie: shells served with truffle shavings and Sauget ham. The dessert buffet is also a must.

At the Alpin restaurant, open only in winter, families enjoy the best local specialties. On the menu: Burgundy fondue, raclette with a knife, Savoy cake, etc. We are in for a treat!

In winter, gourmets sit at the dining room table where truffles are in the spotlight. The menu features delicious creations based on black diamonds.

For a friendly lunch or dinner in a relaxed atmosphere, go to the L'Alpage table d'Hôtes, an authentic Savoyard chalet located at altitude and exclusively reserved for hotel guests (open in summer only, for lunch or dinner, once a week).

Don't forget to discover the homemade pastries and the extensive cocktail menu at the hotel bar.
